What an incredibly nostalgic writing project this has been, working with a publisher whose iconic red logo lined the spines of entire shelves of books in my elementary school and were greedily snatched up at the book fair every year. It's here!FIRST LIGHT has landed in e-readers and audible accounts and is shipping from Amazon.
It's surreal. Crafting and publishing this book and its sequels has been a decade-long process. I started writing this book in late 2011, and by the end of 2021 the entire saga will have been published. And because it can't be said too many times... a huge thank you to everyone who contributed to this process. Books are not solo efforts, as much as it might look it from the cover.
